Welcome to Pinli. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Pinli mobile application (the "App") and the services provided by the developer ("we," "us," or "our").
By downloading or using Pinli, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Description of Service
Pinli is a social communication app that allows users to send quick emotional reactions ("pings" or "nudges") to designated contacts. Features include real-time synchronization, Live Activities, and custom reaction creation.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using Pinli, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide a unique username to use the App.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
4. User Conduct & Content
You are solely responsible for the reactions and content you create or send. You agree NOT to:
- Send harassing, abusive, or harmful content.
- Use the App for any illegal purposes.
- Impersonate others.
- Attempt to interfere with the App's security or performance.
We have a no-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Any user found violating these terms will be subject to immediate account termination.
5. Reporting & Blocking
We are committed to maintaining a safe community. To support this:
- Blocking: You can block any user by navigating to their profile or the chat interface and selecting "Block User". This will instantly hide their content from your feed and prevent them from contacting you.
- Reporting: If you encounter offensive or abusive content, please report it immediately using the in-app "Report" feature available on every post and user profile.
- Action: A mechanism is in place for us to act on reports. We review all reports of objectionable content within 24 hours. If a violation is found, we will remove the content and eject the offending user to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
6. Third-Party Services
Pinli utilizes third-party services, including but not limited to:
- Supabase (Database, Authentication, Edge Functions)
- Firebase (Google/Firebase Cloud Messaging)
- Apple/Google Sign-In
Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
7. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the App (excluding user-generated content) are and will remain our exclusive property.
8. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PINLI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE APP.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
